The production values, for the record, could scarcely be better: Ms. Benzinger’s costumes, Jason Lyons’s lighting and the sound design by Ryan Rumery and Daniel Baker are all first-rate. And Mr. Loquasto’s elaborate, multiroom set is astonishing, so complete that you feel you could set up house there (and live a lot more happily than Vanya and company).
